Skills Demonstration 50%
One 5 minute formal presentation and one 10 minute facilitated training session Prepared during independent learning time and delivered during contact time.
Assignment 50%
Develop a training plan complete with a training needs analysis, training aims, objectives, session plan, room specification, assessment and evaluation. The assignment is completed during own time outside of contact time. |

Understand different learning styles and prepare accordingly
Evaluate different approaches to training
Work effectively and manage a range of learner types and personalities.
Design, deliver and evaluate a training programme effectively.
Develop and implement appropriate assessment methods
Assess their comfort zone when delivering training and the impact it has on learners. |

Why Attend?
This Train the Trainer programme is ideal for participants who have had some experience of delivering formal and informal training, to groups or individuals and now wish to achieve an academic qualification to develop, support and enhance competences in accordance with international best practice. The programme can be tailored to suit the training requirements of part time trainers at staff / supervisor / manager levels and/or full-time professional trainers.

The aim of the programme is to enhance the existing skills, knowledge and behaviours of learners relating to the design, delivery and evaluation of training programmes. |
