Certified by NUI Manooth, the Certificate in Training and Continuing Education has been developed in order to:

• ensure that trainers have the essential competencies necessary to meet the training challenges that they are faced with in today's changing world.

• encourage those in training roles to update themselves in new developments in training methodology and delivery systems.

The Course Material is delivered in four units and covers all the essential basic skills and knowledge required by today's trainer.
COMPLETING THE COURSE

You must complete the course and submit your coursework at the final workshop. To request a deferral involves applying in writing to NUI Maynooth, incurring a €150 re-registration fee, stating reasons for a deferral and supplying written evidence (e.g. doctor’s cert or other extenuating circumstances). Being granted a deferral period is at the discretion of NUI Maynooth.

In addition to attending the course workshops, you are required to spend about 6 hours per week on your coursework. This is a big time commitment.
