Course Content Social networking is the number one activity on the web. Businesses use it for various reasons including:
- Promoting their product(s) and/or service(s)
- Sourcing news and information that is relevant to them
- Brand awareness
- Customer services
- Gathering feedback
- Selling (taking payments online) and promoting discounts and packages
- As a knowledge base for their customers
- CRM – engaging with existing customer and creating relationships with new customers
- Interacting and build relationships with other relevant businesses

Social Media is an ever evolving area, existing platforms are changing their layout and functionality daily and new platforms are emerging every day. It is important that participants are given the most up to date information which will enable them to make informed decision about the platform they choose for their business and their strategy for using it.

Each participant will receive a copy of the presentation with details of all sites and tools covered throughout the workshop.
